This year's 4th wasn't quite the second day in a three day drive across country but we did manage to keep busy.  A little home improvement, a little horticulture and some grilling/baking made for a pleasant Independence day.


Sydney provided a little holiday entertainment by her fascination with the in-shell peanuts in a bowl. She is pretty much the queen of tactile experience.  Anytime she is near a glass, a bottle, a box, you name it, she has to rub her teeth on it and give it a good test bite.  When it comes to items she can knock around she is quick to toss them about then immediately loose interest.  She's a special little kitty indeed.
